Below MVGC provides answers to common questions regarding membership and our offerings!

What is the minimum age to operate a golf cart and MVGC?

MVGC policy regarding the use of golf carts at our club is designed to promote the safety and enjoyment of all our patrons and staff, as well as to comply with the state and local regulations.

As of June 21, 2024, MVGC will only rent a golf cart to those who are 21 years old or older with a valid driver's license or a current MVGC member 16 years old or older with a valid driver's license.  Those who don't meet this criteria will not be allowed to operate a golf cart on our premises. This policy applies to both the 18-hole and the 9-hole rounds.

Being a member of our golf club has many benefits. You can access exclusive courses, facilities, and tournaments. You can also invite one guest to play with you at a lower rate.

• How many member guests can receive the discount Member Guest Rate?One. 
• The Member Guest Rate is for a single guest playing with a single member. More guests pay the regular rate.

What is a Member Charge Account?

A Member Charge Account is a special feature that comes with the Individual Membership and Family Membership categories at MVGC. It allows you to charge your purchases at the club to your account, without having to carry cash or cards. You can use your Member Charge Account to pay for food and beverages, pro shop items, golf lessons, and more.

How does it work?

To activate your Member Charge Account, you need to have a valid credit card on file with MVGC. You can update your credit card information anytime through your online account on Chronogolf. You can also view your account balance, statements, and payment history on Chronogolf.

Your Member Charge Account limit is $500.00 and is cleared on the 1st of each month. This means that your credit card will be automatically charged for the amount you spent at the club in the previous month. You will receive an email notification when your payment is processed.

What are the benefits?

• Enjoy the club's amenities without worrying about carrying cash or cards.
• You can track your spending and manage your account online.
• You can save time and hassle at the checkout.
• You can earn rewards and discounts on your purchases.

Not at this time during the 2024-2025 membership term; however, MVGC may add these as an option in the future once the current Membership offering is completed.

No we do not offer this type of membership.

Not at this time.  

• A Junior Membership is available for 16-19 years of age.  
• A family membership is also available that would cover this age.
• The 12 years and younger with Member reduced rate is for a single Junior 12 yoa and younger playing with a member.

We offer this service to our members each year for a yearly renewal fee.

Yes, we have a variety of event spaces available for rent, including our clubhouse and outdoor patio for Members and Guests.  Please contact us with the details of your event!
